The Asturias Health Observatory (AHO) is a project developed by the Public Health General Directorate in Asturias, Spain, in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute. One of the AHO projects are "Asturias Health Rankings" This projects follows methodology of the american "County Health Rankings". "County Health Rankings model is grounded in the belief that programs and policies implemented at the local, state, and federal levels have an impact on the variety of factors that, in turn, determine the health outcomes for communities across the nation" This projects presents a picture of 78 counties in Asturias measuring health outcomes and health factors to represent how healthy each county is.
