Mental Health Network Switzerland

The Netzwerk Psychische Gesundheit Schweiz (NPG, mental health network) is a national initiative for the promotion of mental health and the reduction of the effects of mental health problems as well as for suicide prevention in Switzerland. The funding organizations are the Federal Office of Public Health, the Federal Social Insurance Office, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, the Conference of Cantonal Health Directors and the Health Promotion Switzerland foundation. The NPG's objective is to establish as large a network of players and measures in the area of mental health in Switzerland as possible to further the exchange of information and knowledge as well as making innovative approaches accessible and promoting synergies. The NPG itself does not establish or finance any prevention measures.
